Polka Dots!

Hi everybody! I'm here today to share my take on the the Polka Dot Party challenge. I was excited about this one. Here's what I came up with:

I decided to use the gorgeous 5th and Monaco collection by Pink Paislee. I am in love with that striped paper and all the flower patterns. I also love the contrast of the black and white stripes with the bright pink paper. The letters I used for my title are from Heidi Swapp, and I threw in a cute little tag by Pretty Little Studio

I love hand stitching on my layouts, but I didn't have a whole lot of time to spend on stitching for this one, so I decided to just string my thread across the page in a diamond pattern. It was quick and easy, but it worked. I added my polka dots on top of the strings with some buttons from my stash.

I hope you'll play along with this challenge! Don't forget to join in the fun in the Paper Issues Facebook group! And, of course, when you're shopping in the store, don't forget to use my discount code for 20% off!

Peachy Keen!

Hi everybody. I'm just stopping by to share my layout for this month's monochromatic challenge. The color palette is absolutely gorgeous this month:

I truly love all the different shades of peach in this palette. I found some thread that matched and proceeded to hand stitch my little heart out:

I sorted through my stash and found some peach elements. The sweet little butterfly is from Pretty Little Studio, and the title and phrase sticker are from Pinkfresh Studio. The heart in the center and the black leafy stickers are from Crate Paper's Magical Forest collection.
