52 Faves

Hi everybody! I'm just stopping by to share my layout for 52 Faves. I should probably confess that I am always behind on this project. I decided to cut my self a deal and just do what I can, when I can. For this week, I scrapped a photo that popped up on my Facebook memories:

I used a free cut file for this project. I don't have a cutting machine, so I print the files on a regular printer and use them as templates for hand stitching. It works!

I used mostly the Summer Farmhouse collection from Simple Stories for this layout. It is absolutely GORGEOUS.

I hope you'll play along with this challenge! Don't forget to join in the fun in the Paper Issues Facebook group! And, of course, when you're shopping in the store, don't forget to use my discount code for 20% off!

Feeling Springy!

Hi everybody! So, I normally love to do springtime scrapping, but this year has just been kinda blah. I finally decided to document little things we've done anyway, because I'm sure I'll want to remember the blah year someday. LOL! The "Spring in Your Step" challenge was a perfect motivator.

I recently discovered how much I love hand stitching the free cutfiles that are available in the shop. This one caught my attention:

I decided to give hand stitching it a try, and here's what I came up with:

I love the way this turned out! I did my stitching first, and then I cut my paper into strips to fit into the spaces. I also ruffled up the edges of the paper, 'cause I'm a rebel that way.

And, people, can we just take a minute to talk about the Summer Farmhouse collection? It's swoon-worthy! The colors and patterns are just too pretty for words.

I hope you'll play along with this challenge! Don't forget to join in the fun in the Paper Issues Facebook group! And, of course, when you're shopping in the store, don't forget to use my discount code for 20% off!
