Scrap Soup

Hi everybody. Today, I'm sharing a layout I made for Scrap Soup this month. Here's the recipe:

1 cut file or 5 die cuts 

The color orange 

lined patterned paper 

one triangle 

3 photos 

At first, I was a bit intimidated by this recipe. I don't use cut files, and I was pretty sure I had no die cuts. I was also worried about the three photos. I almost always use one photo. I finally decided to quit being a whiner and look at this as an opportunity to stretch myself a little. Here's what I came up with: 

I used my the Indigo Hills 2 collection from Pinkfresh Studio. This collection is just too beautiful for words. There are so many elements in the patterned papers that are just begging to be fussy cut. I cut out the leaves and arranged them with my white leaf "die cuts". I used orange ink to splatter the background, and there's a little triangle tucked behind my title.
